Pride&Dignity is a small family kennel, located in a village Dol in a municipality Borovnica. When we decided to breed the American Buldog, our goal was to promote the breed only little known to Slovenia. Back then, our male Herkul was one of the first representatives of the American Buldog in Slovenia.
The goal and moto of our breeding is to breed mainly, healthy, socialized, temperament and happy offspring and to find them good homes. We believe that only good and attentive owners can provide a dog with a quality life and raise it to become a man's best friend. This view also expresses our relation towards dogs and other animals, since our dogs are a part of our family and our true friends. The time we spend playing with them, bathing and training them, is no obligation for us, but merely a life style, fun and a hobby.
Until now, each owner of our offspring has met our expectations, and surely do their best firends reward them with lots of dog happiness.
And now a few words about ourselves. We are Enriko, Marjana and Josip (Enriko's father), animal lovers, who live a simple life on the country side, along with our animals. We also have a cat named Ikaros and two nimphas. Fortunately, we have a big garden where our dogs can spend days running around and playing.
Joy and fun brought to us by living with American Buldogs, helped us make a decision of breeding this wonderful breed. Bullterrier Bonnie soon joined Herkul, my birth day present. Their mutual understanding and adjustment enthralled us all, so Heba, Fides, Dora, Eos, ... soon came as well. The interesting part was the connection of bullterrier and American Buldog at playing, since the persistance and energy of bullterrier stimulate the activity of our American Buldogs.
Both breeds enchanted us, each in its own way. American Buldog with its greatness and ''a child's soul in a lion's body", and bullterrier with its hyperactivity and charismatic, different look.
Now we have a big dog family: mongrel Dino, English buldog Gita, five American buldogs (two dogs and three bitches), two bullterriers and a bitch Belona, also an American buldog, living in co-ownership in Serbia.
We are proud that our dogs are also successful at exhibitions, as we also win titles abroad (A.B.N.A. shows). Herkul is the first and for now the only American buldog to win the A.B.N.A. title 'champion', on the Ex-Yu area, Romania, Bulgaria, ...
